The classic lacing system adapts perfectly to your individual foot shape and complements the perforated shaft of Teijin premium microfibre, a material that wraps around your foot like a second skin. The Easton EC90-SLX2 carbon fibre sole gives the shoe optimal stiffness and provides ideal power transfer. Thanks to our adjustable Super Natural Fit footbed, the Empire W is a shoe that will convince you from the very beginning with the highest comfort and best kick efficiency. Upper material: one-piece, breathable premium Teijin Samo upper material holding loop for shoelaces. Closure system: lacing SOLE: Easton EC90 SLX carbon fibre composite threaded inserts made of stainless steel. • We worked closely with the engineering staff at Easton® to develop proprietary outsoles that provide the most direct, powerful connection to the pedals without compromising comfort. Using advanced modeling and proprietary fixturing in our extensive test lab, every outsole is engineered to provide ideal stiffness in 3 zones: Toe, Arch, and Heel, while maintaining the lowest possible weight and stack-height (as low as 6.5mm).
